The permanent makeup (PMU) process generally contains the following:
The PMU Process can be performed using multiple devices but the three most popular or well known include traditional tattoo coil machines, the pen or rotary machine (this includes the digital rotary machines), and the non-machine or hand-held device. Each tool has their pros and cons. More information and deciding upon which tool is best for your needs will be discussed during the consultation.
The patient will first be numbed in the area that will be targetted. Once the numbing has taken, the professional PMU Artist will begin to lay the color onto the targetted area. The general consensus of feeling is a slight pricking sensation and little pain is associated with the procedure. For most people, the procedure only takes 1-2 hours.
The dyes we use at Ambal Cosmetics are natural and organic, and thus pose little to no risk for most people. As always, those with allergies are advised to let the PMU Artist know before starting the laydown of color in targetted areas.
